Parallax 2020 was created by three artists from Milan, New York and Los Angeles during the quarantine. The concept fused art and digital technology, allowing creative producerr Federico Morgantini @FedericoMorgantini to collaborate with Beauty Director Anastasia Durasova @adurasova and model Daria Strokous @DariaStrokous to create content from their lockdowns on opposite ends of the globe.
Morgantini provided the initial idea as well as creative direction and instruction to setup lighting and camera settings. In New York, Durasova created the beauty direction and illustration. Strokous shot a series of self-portraits and motion in LA, while Morgantini and CATTURA Production recorded screens in real time from Milan.
Parallax 2020 demonstrates the geographic distance and this global pandemic are not barriers to creativity, but opportunities for new channels of creative freedom.
